Civilian Name: Amarah Abdennour

Name Meaning: Amarah (usually written ‘Amara’) means ‘unfading, eternal’ or ‘paradise’ whilst Abdennour comes from the phrase ‘Abd al- Nur’ meaning ‘servant of the light’

Age: Unknown - thought to be hundreds of years old, though this might be false

Birthday: 30th August (Virgo)

Personality: Amarah is level-headed, realistic and (unfortunately) wise far, far beyond her years. This makes her come across as overly serious quite often and something of a know-it-all. Whilst she is perfectly capable of being friendly, nurturing and even outgoing, she chooses not to challenge this preconception, as she has been somewhat scarred by memories not her own of loss and separation. She has a dry, almost sarcastic wit that usually only reveals itself around those she considers herself close to.

Background: Much of Amarah’s past is a mystery she prefers not to share. What is known is that upon awakening as Sailor Alphard, she gained access to the memories of everyone that bore the mantel of Sailor Alphard before her. This gives her access to a wealth of knowledge and experience far greater than most people can comprehend. What is also known is that she has spent the time between her awakening and the present wandering. If there is a purpose to her journey, few if any know it. She has been known to assist senshi with their battles whilst she’s in the area but has also, at times, chosen not to.

Like Nunki, Alphard is a result of the auction Nicky held to raise money for .  When coming up with some designs for Nunki, Nicky very generously offered me a second senshi design and thus Sailor Alphard came into existence (and Nunki has a new best friend)
